What is the GDPR?

GDPR, the General Data Protection Regulation, is a European Union (EU) privacy law that is affecting organizations all around the world. If an organization targets or collects data related to people in the EU or offer goods and services to people in the EU, they are required to follow this law or be faced with harsh fines (Fines for violating the GDPR are incredibly high). This regulation was put into effect on May 25, 2018.  This is provided only as a resource, not legal advice. For more information about the GDPR, please visit here.
